Blackheads (Strawberry Nose) is a VERY common skin problem. If you have thought that blackheads are the dirt that got stuck in the pores, you are WRONG. Blackheads arise due to clogged pores, normally due to surplus sebum or dead skin cells; post exposing to oxygen, the clogged pores oxidizes and darkens resulting in blackheads.

Though it is extremely tempting to squeeze out the blackheads, it is STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND. Incorrect removal will not only injuries the skin and pores, but it will also increase the chance of skin infection.

Ironically, strawberries, which has a high level of alpha hydroxyl acids, salicylic acid, aspartic acid, ellagic acid are a natural cure to blackheads!

Come and learn how to make your own strawberry mask!
1) 2 to 3 ripe strawberries; clean them before mashing to remove the pesticide residue on the fruit surface.
2) 1 tablespoon of honey, add more if needed. It is recommended to use raw honey instead of processed honey.

1) In a small bowl, mash 2 to 3 ripe strawberries into a pulp.
2) Add in honey to the mash and stir till you form a fairly smooth paste.
3) Apply the mixture onto the face in a gentle circular motion. Massage for at least 2 minutes. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes.
4) Wash off with warm water first then cold water to close off pores.

Note: Before using any of the masks, it's best to test a small portion of the mask onto your inner elbow or wrist to see if you might be allergic to it.
